La Favorita

La Favorita is a fully washed Colombian coffee coming to us from Café Granja La Esperanza, located in Caicedonia in Valle del Cauca. This coffee is made up of Colombia, Castillo and Caturra varietals and was grown 1650-1700 MASL. The cup score is 85+ and we are tasting red fruit and guava with a balanced body. We purchased all of this particular lot, as we believe in the quality of this coffee and the mission of Café Granja. This lot is a part of the Community Program, which means neighboring farmers grew this coffee in conjunction with Café Granja's growing standards and oversight. This program ensures farmers are getting paid 25% more than average to better support their families and their farms.
